Principal's Welcome

LVS Hassocks Principal

Welcome from the Principal

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to LVS Hassocks, a thriving, multi-award winning, specialist independent school in the heart of Mid-Sussex for those with a diagnosis of autism aged 11 – 19.

LVS Hassocks serves the needs of students with EHCP’s from a range of different Local Authorities, which include; West Sussex, East Sussex, Surrey, Brighton and Hove and several London Boroughs.

We are part of a family of three schools owned by the Licensed Trade Charity. The LTC was founded over 200 years ago in 1793, by people from the trade and is devoted to looking after people from the licensed drinks trade, providing support when needed. It has also been managing independent schools, now open to all, since 1803.

The aim of LVS Hassocks is to support our students to ‘learn, grow, achieve’ and help our students realise their aspirations through providing an excellent standard of education, underpinned by a culture of high expectations, preparation for adulthood and development of independence.

At LVS Hassocks we seek to develop all students academically, personally and socially in order that when they have completed a five or seven-year journey with us, they are fully prepared to take the next step in their lives – be that employment, further training, or apprenticeship.

We not only promote academic achievements but also value the importance of personal growth, enjoyment and responsibility.

I hope you find all the information you need on this website. If you would like to find out more about LVS Hassocks, please contact us and we will be delighted to help.
