LVS Hassocks Wins National Children and Young People Award
LVS Hassocks, a multi-award-winning independent specialist school in Sayers Common for young people with autism, is delighted to have won The Children with Disabilities category in the 2020 National Children & Young People’s Awards.
The Awards, designed to celebrate excellence in care for children, young people & families and pays tribute to individuals or organisations who excel in quality care provision, requires nominees to evidence ‘going that extra mile’ in promoting the ability of children with disabilities as well as providing a truly child centred service. LVS Hassocks was praised for being “community spirited”.
The LVS Hassocks team are proud of this recognition and win, which follows a string of recent achievements for the school including the Independent Schools Association Award for Outstanding Provision for Learning Support.
LVS Hassocks is proud to offer an education that encourages students to realise their full potential, giving them access to qualifications and providing opportunities for individuals to be empowered. Learning without limits is at the core of LVS Hassocks’ spirit as confirmed by judges who observed that the “whole school ethos shone” through Principal Jen Weeks’ description of the school’s approach to education.
