LVS Hassocks are excited to share that despite the national controversy, overall our GCSE results are excellent. Students at LVS Hassocks have completed a variety of qualifications including GCSE’s, BTECs, ASDAN and Functional Skills.
Head of School, Jen Weeks says ‘I am proud of our students many achievements, not only the academic ones, which are celebrated today. There were strong results in Art with two students gaining a grade 7. Maths and English GCSE results were also highly positive with 75% of students who were entered for Maths gaining a 4 or higher and 71% of those entered for English gaining a 4 or higher. There was 100% pass rate in statistics. On behalf of those students moving on to pursue FE College placements or apprenticeships we wish them well and we look forward to welcoming back those who will commence their Level 3 studies’.
We do however also appreciate there will be a number of students who will need additional support and guidance as they look at next steps for the future and so all of our efforts here at LVS Hassocks will be in channelled into providing one to one support sessions both in person and online.’
