LVS Hassocks is one of the three schools and owned and managed by the Licensed Trade Charity. The LTC is proud to be an employer that supports staff in their personal and career development.

We are celebrating Principal, Jen Weeks, who undertook a PG Cert in Autism from the University of Brighton and graduated with a Distinction. The PG Cert is designed to support career progression, increase subject knowledge and help you to make a positive difference to the autistic individuals you support within your organisation.

Principal Jen Weeks said ” Without the support of the organisation, my learning opportunities wouldn’t be able to be what they are. My professional development has enabled me to really make a difference to the learning of the students in my care and the way in which i manage the school.”

Other recent achievements:

Director of Education, Sarah Sherwood achieved a Doctorate in Education. She was supported and funded by the organisation. The Institute of Education quotes ” This degree is for experienced professionals from education and related fields who would like to extend their professional understanding.”

Olivia is one of our PE & Science teachers at LVS Hassocks. She completed her NQT year at LVS Hassocks and was given lots of mentoring and support. Since joining us Olivia has had a lot of training opportunities and enjoys being a part of such a “nurturing and supportive team.”
