Beachy Head trip for 'Awe and Wonder' learning
29 April 2010
LVS Hassocks students visited Beachy Head on the coast as part of their 'Awe and Wonder' curriculum in April.
Pupils from the Vocational Group spent the day looking round the area of outstanding natural beauty, with its dramatic white cliffs and undulating downs.
They had prepared questions to research such as: "'How did it get to look like this?", "Will it always look like this?", and "How high is it?". On the day they searched about for the answers to their questions.
This was followed by a tasty picnic on the beach, enjoyed by all!
