A residential and extended day school for children with learning difficulties

The space, security and tranquil environment at LVS Hassocks provides students with a calm and safe environment to live and learn life skills.

The weekly residential programmed provides a high standard of care, allowing students personal space within a purpose built residential setting. There is some flexibility for day provision for students living close to LVS Hassocks.

The Supported Independence programme for the residential students encourages students to live as independently as possible, with help and guidance from residential staff whenever they need it. This team work within the school as part of the normal day, this ensures continuity and means across the curriculum the focus is on each student’s Individual Education Plan targets.

Staff work closely with students to develop the skills necessary to manage and maintain their own daily lives and address their personal care needs, ensuring they understand that this is integral to their well-being.
